CAPTAIN'S LOG
At Sea: Lifeboat Drills
August 21, 2002
This is one of my favorite shots of
Eagle. I took this one at sea from the lifeboat during one of
the lifeboat drills.
Today is lifeboat training drills.
Once again, teaching is a daily activity.
With camera over my shoulder, I am
prepared for my turn in the lifeboat.
We are being lowered over the side.
In the open sea, keeping the camera
dry was a task.
Returning safely. However, I am with
the Coast Gruard; and, safe is the name of the game.
Another beautiful evening at sea. This
is the moon taken from the bow of Eagle. We had absolutely beautiful
moonlit nights while at sea.
The best to you, shipmates
